From the 63rd minute, coach Mai Duc Chung decided to change a series of personnel when Diem My, Hai Yen, Nguyen Thi Duyen, Tuyet Ngan and Tuyet Dung entered the field to replace Thu Thu Thuong, Bich Thuy, Thu Thao, Nguyen Thi Van, Thai Thi Thao.

With a new squad, the Vietnam women's team quickly equalized 2-2 in the 75th minute thanks to Hai Yen. In the 86th minute, Hai Yen continued to score to increase the score to 3-2, this was also the result of the match. In the last minute of the match, young striker Ngoc Minh Chuyen was the last player to be sent onto the field to replace Huynh Nhu.

On June 13, the Vietnam women's team continued to have a practice match with the Tezukayama Gakuin University football team.
