In the past time, VFF functional departments have closely coordinated with coach Kim Sang-sik to develop a detailed plan for the national team. In the context that the V.League 2025-2026 season has not ended, VFF still maintains regular exchanges with clubs to harmonize between the domestic schedule and the tasks of the national team.
The options for summoning and using players are built flexibly, both ensuring the interests of clubs and meeting the professional requirements of the coaching staff of the Vietnamese national team.
Right from May 20, VFF leaders had a working session with leaders of Hanoi Police Club to agree on a coordination plan to prepare for the national team. Representatives of the police sector team affirmed their willingness to create conditions, and at the same time share the force of players when summoned to help the Vietnamese team have the best preparation for the ASEAN Cup 2026.
