Assessments and forecasts
After many sideways sessions, the pepper market recorded a small adjustment in the Southeast region. Meanwhile, in the Central Highlands, especially Lam Dong, farmers are entering the harvest peak with a mixed mood of selling prices higher than last year but yields are clearly reduced due to prolonged unfavorable weather.
Currently, the amount of goods put on the market is not large because farmers are still surveying price trends. Most pepper growers are prioritizing slow harvesting, waiting for prices to show clearer signs of improvement.
