In 152 inspections and handling cases, there were 52 cases of illegal trading and transportation of prohibited and smuggled goods; 82 cases of trade fraud and 18 cases of counterfeit goods. In particular, 2 cases and 2 subjects were prosecuted. Compared to the same period, the number of inspections and handling cases decreased by 172 cases.

On the same day, the Market Management Department of Can Tho City coordinated with the Department of Fisheries, Quality, Processing and Market Development of the City; Team 5 - Economic Police Department (under the City Police); Can Tho Technical Center for Standards and metrics of Quality, conducted an inspection, verification and examination of the City Food Processing Trading Service Company Limited (located in Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City).
The results showed that at the time of inspection, T.P Food Processing Trading Service Company Limited had signs of violations. Specifically, the leveling (production) has a product label but does not record enough information according to regulations. The evidence currently includes 200 bags, 25 kg/bag of "a Red Dust of Hong Dan, Bees' mark" (long - sticky - soft grains, rice balls) and has sold 60 bags, 25 kg/bag, listed for 13,800 VND/kg, estimated at a total value of 89.7 million VND. The company also could not present self-declaration documents according to regulations.
At the same time, the rice product "a red dusty Hong Dan, the brand of the baby bee" mentioned above has been sampled to send to the competent authority for quality testing. The case is currently being further clarified and handled according to regulations.
