Information from the Hanoi Market Management Department (QLTT), the unit has just coordinated with related units to destroy a large quantity of smuggled cosmetics.
Previously, on July 9, 2024, Market Management Team No. 22 under the Hanoi Market Management Department coordinated with the Economic and Position Crime Investigation Police Team - Bac Tu Liem District Police to inspect a business location, located in the area opposite Doan Thi Diem Secondary School (Nguyen Dinh Tu Street, Xuan Dinh Ward, Bac Tu Liem District, Hanoi), owned by Mr. L.V.T.
At the time of inspection, the authorities discovered many signs of violations related to cosmetic business activities.
The entire case file and the evidence of the violation were transferred by Market Management Team No. 22 to the Investigation Police Agency - Bac Tu Liem District Police for further verification, clarification and handling according to their authority.
On July 9, 2025, after the investigation, Market Management Team No. 22 (now under the Hanoi Market Management Department) received a dossier requesting an administrative penalty for Mr. L.V.T sent by the Investigation Police Agency - Hanoi City Police.
On August 4, 2025, the Hanoi People's Committee issued a Decision to administratively sanction Mr. L.V.T. According to the decision, Mr. T was fined a total of 352,500,000 VND in fines and illegal profits forced to be paid to the state budget.
At the same time, Mr. T was subject to additional penalties, including: confiscation of means and tools for violations, including 02 laser and needle shots; 02 date cutting machines; 01 label cutting machines.
Forced to destroy all 91,036 cosmetic products of all kinds that violate legal regulations.

Cosmetics of unknown origin can contain toxic ingredients, are not tested, and have the potential to cause allergies, skin poisoning and many long-term health consequences.
Therefore, the authorities recommend that people should choose products at reputable stores, carefully check labels, sub- headlines and advertised information before using.
Business establishments also need to strictly comply with regulations on invoices, documents, and product origin. If they intentionally violate, they will be strictly handled according to the law.
