The Department of Health of Cao Bang province has just issued Official Letter No. 3983/SYT-NV to the People's Committees of communes, wards and cosmetic businesses in the province requesting the immediate suspension of business and use and the revocation of 4 batches of Thai Duong Bamboo blind oil cosmetics due to unknown origin and failure to meet volume standards.
According to the document, the 4 batches of products recalled nationwide have the registration number: 004405/23/CBMP-HCM, issued by Dai Hung Pharmaceutical Company Limited (address: Department 14B03, Ruby Land building, No. 58/4 Luy Ban Bich, Tan Thoi Hoa ward, Tan Phu district, Ho Chi Minh City) is responsible for launching them on the market.
The product is produced at Contra Production, Trade and Service Company Limited Branch (factory located at No. 19, Street 165, Hamlet 5, Binh My Commune, Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City), distributed by Nam Thai Duong Pharmaceutical Company Limited (address: 51/2A Thanh Thai, Ward 14, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City).
Specific information for the recalled product lots includes:
Lot No. 06102024: Producer 1.10.2024 - HSD 1.10.2027, capacity 10ml;
Lot No. 112411: Producer 5.11.2024 - HSD 5.11.2027, capacity 10ml;
Lot No. 250212: Producer, February 28, 2025 - HSD, February 28, 2028, capacity of 10ml;
Lot No. 250215: Producer February 28, 2025 - HSD February 28, 2028, capacity 30ml.
The reason for the revocation was determined to be that the product had unknown origin and did not meet the quality requirements for volume standards according to regulations.
The Department of Health requires the People's Committees of communes and wards to widely notify businesses and cosmetic users in the area to check, review and return the products to the supplier if they are found in warehouses or in business.
At the same time, it is necessary to supervise, inspect the implementation of the recovery and send a report on the results to the Department of Health of Cao Bang province in accordance with regulations.
The Department also recommends coordinating with media agencies to promptly inform people and businesses to avoid continuing to trade and use the above-mentioned batches of cosmetics that do not ensure quality.
