    Implementing the provisions of Clause 2, Article 46 of the Government's Decree No. 98/2023/ND-CP of December 31, 2023, detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Emulation and Reward, the Ministry of Defense has publicized the list of collectives and individuals that have been awarded and awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces of the People's Armed Forces during the resistance against France and the United States.

    Along with that, 1 collective and 1 individual are proposed to be awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces during the resistance war against the US to save the country, including:

    Farmers' Association for the Liberation of the Central - Central Highlands (Farmers' Association for the Liberation of Zone V).

    Major Nguyen Duc Huy - former Deputy Regiment Commander and Chief of Staff of Regiment 9, Division 304, Military Region 2 (later Major General, former Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 2).
