On the morning of November 18, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, Politburo member and Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu - Head of the Organizing Subcommittee for the 14th National Party Congress - chaired a meeting of the Standing Committee of the Subcommittee to review work and give opinions on a number of contents of the organization work for the 14th National Party Congress.
At the meeting, Ms. Lam Thi Phuong Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Chief of the Standing Office of the Party Central Committee Office - presented a report on the coordination and implementation of the organization work to serve the 14th National Party Congress since the meeting on October 24.
Representatives of the Hanoi People's Committee reported on the plan to decorate the streets in the area and the plan to organize a People's delegation to celebrate the Congress.
After listening to the report and opinions expressed and concluding the meeting, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu requested that the agencies and units assigned to continue to make efforts to complete the set plan on schedule, ensuring the highest quality for the work of serving the 14th National Party Congress.
Regarding the preparation of facilities for the Congress, the Standing Committee of the Secretariat emphasized the need for urgent, drastic implementation, without subjectivity.
In particular, it is necessary to speed up the repair and upgrading of the National Convention Center; carefully implement the reception and logistics work; complete the arrangement of seating diagrams for official delegates and guests to ensure science and reason; the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security develop a plan to welcome delegates, ensuring absolute security and safety.
Regarding decoration, propaganda, and intuitive encouragement to welcome the 14th Congress, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu suggested that the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee coordinate with the 14th Congress Documents Subcommittee of the Party to direct the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to appraise propaganda slogans, closely follow the content of the Party's documents and clearly demonstrate the "People" element.
The Hanoi People's Committee continues to complete the plan to decorate the streets in the capital, ensuring aesthetics, harmony, solemnity, and accurate representation of the stature of the country's important political events.
Regarding the design of badge models, guests..., the Standing Committee of the Secretariat requested the Central Party Office to preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism according to schedule and regulations.
For the delegations of all classes of the People of Hanoi to welcome the Congress, the Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu assigned the Hanoi Party Committee to preside over and coordinate with the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee to select delegates in harmony, ensuring the structure, age, profession, ethnic and regional components; organize a solemn, thoughtful and ritualistic celebration.
