The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued Decision No. 101/QD-BNV on announcing internal administrative procedures between newly issued or abolished state administrative agencies in the field of local government under the management functions of this agency.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Home Affairs announced a list of 3 internal administrative procedures between state administrative agencies newly issued in the field of local government.
There are 2 central-level administrative procedures including: Procedure for classifying provincial-level administrative units; Procedure for classifying wards and special-class special zones, with the implementing agency being the Ministry of Home Affairs (Department of Local Government). Along with that, there is 1 provincial-level administrative procedure which is the procedure for classifying commune-level administrative units (except for wards and special-class special zones), with the implementing agency being the Departments of Home Affairs of provinces and cities.
The decision of the Ministry of Home Affairs also clearly states the order, method of implementation, composition, number of dossiers; time limit for resolution; subjects, agencies resolving administrative procedures; implementation results; fees and charges; name of application form, declaration form; requirements, conditions, and legal bases of administrative procedures.
The Ministry of Home Affairs also abolished 2 administrative procedures that were announced in Decision No. 319/QD-BNV dated April 8, 2025 of the Minister of Home Affairs. These are 1 central-level administrative procedure (procedure for classifying provincial-level administrative units) and 1 provincial-level administrative procedure (procedure for classifying commune-level administrative units).
