On November 22, in Binh Phuoc province, the Central Organizing Committee held a conference to announce and present the Politburo's decision on the assignment and transfer of cadres. Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung attended the conference.
At the conference, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Do Trong Hung announced the Politburo's decision on the transfer and appointment of Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union to cease holding the position of Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union; transfer and appoint Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term and to join the Party Committee of Military Region 7 for the 2020-2025 term.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Minh Hung - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organizing Committee congratulated Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh on holding the position of Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee. According to Mr. Le Minh Hung, Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh is assessed by the Politburo as a cadre with capacity, experience, thinking, scientific, democratic and decisive working methods, close to the grassroots.
In all her positions, Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh has always completed her tasks excellently, making important contributions to the achievements of her agencies and units.
Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung believes and hopes that Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh will promote her youth and experience from working in the province and the Central Government to excellently complete the assigned tasks.
Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh (44 years old, residing in Thuan An city, Binh Duong province), has a Master's degree in Political Science (majoring in Party Building), a Bachelor's degree in Party Building and State Administration, and a high level of political theory.
Before being appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee, Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh held the positions of Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Youth Union and Delegate of the Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Council for the 2011-2016 term. Since June 2016, Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh has been a member of the Provincial Party Committee, a Delegate of the 14th National Assembly, a member of the Social Affairs Committee of the 14th National Assembly, and Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Binh Phuoc Province.
In July 2019, Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh was appointed as Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Phuoc province. In January 2020, Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh was appointed as Secretary of the Dong Xoai City Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term. On January 30, 2021, at the 13th National Congress of the Party, Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh was elected as an alternate member of the 13th Party Central Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
By March 2022, Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh was an alternate member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Party Delegation, and Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union.
Previously, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong was the Secretary of Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee since July 2021. On November 20, 2024, the Central Commission for External Relations held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on the transfer, assignment, and appointment of Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Commission for External Relations.
