On April 8, continuing the program of the First Session, the 16th National Assembly, the Prime Minister submitted to the National Assembly the structure of the number of Government members and the draft Resolution on the structure of the number of Government members.
The Prime Minister submits the list for the National Assembly to approve the appointment of Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers and other members of the Government.
The National Assembly discusses and approves the appointment of Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers and other members of the Government by secret ballot.
With 484/485 National Assembly deputies (NA deputies) participating in the vote in favor (100%), the 16th National Assembly voted to approve the Resolutions on approving the appointment of 6 Deputy Prime Ministers.
In which, Mr. Le Tien Chau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hai Phong City Party Committee was approved by the National Assembly to be appointed as Deputy Prime Minister for the 2026-2031 term.
