On November 18, the Coast Guard Command held a conference to announce the Decision on personnel work of the Logistics and Engineering Department.
At the conference, Colonel Le Huy - Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of the Coast Guard - announced the decision of the Minister of National Defense on the transfer and appointment of 6 personnel, including:
Colonel Nguyen Quang Hung - Chief of Coast Guard Engineering holds the position of Chief of Coast Guard Logistics and Engineering;
Colonel Le Dong Thuy - Head of Logistics of the Coast Guard holds the position of Deputy Head of Logistics - Engineering of the Coast Guard;
Colonel Tran Nhu Thoi - Deputy Director of Logistics of the Coast Guard holds the position of Deputy Director of Logistics - Engineering of the Coast Guard;
Colonel Nguyen Van Ha - Deputy Director of Logistics of the Coast Guard holds the position of Deputy Director of Logistics - Engineering of the Coast Guard;
Colonel Nguyen Van Toan - Deputy Chief of Coast Guard Engineering holds the position of Deputy Chief of Coast Guard Logistics and Engineering;
Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Khue - Deputy Chief of Coast Guard Engineering holds the position of Deputy Chief of Coast Guard Logistics and Engineering.
At the conference, the Coast Guard Party Committee announced the decision that Colonel Le Dong Thuy was appointed as Secretary of the Party Committee of the Coast Guard Logistics and Technology Department, and Colonel Nguyen Quang Hung was appointed as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Coast Guard Logistics and Technology Department.
Speaking at the conference, Lieutenant General Le Quang Dao - Commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard - congratulated the personnel appointed in this round and emphasized that the merger of the Logistics Department and the Technical Department is very important, marking the development and maturity of the Logistics - Technical sector at all levels, meeting the requirements of building a lean, strong, and modern Army.
Lieutenant General Le Quang Dao requested that the appointed and designated personnel clearly define their tasks, focus on studying the functions and powers, and review the document system of the Coast Guard Logistics and Engineering Department in the new period, thereby improving the quality of advice to the Party Committee and the Coast Guard Command on this important work.
The Commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard also noted that the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Command of the Logistics and Technical Department of the Coast Guard, after being reorganized, should focus on maintaining internal solidarity, unity, and discipline; assign tasks to each individual in charge, review and amend working regulations and rules after reorganizing the leadership and command; and focus on organizing well the Party Congress of the Logistics and Technical Department of the Coast Guard in the coming time.
