The Ministry of Home Affairs assigns Deputy Ministers to monitor and direct the Department of Overseas Labor Management

Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra has just signed a decision to assign work to the leaders of the Ministry, applicable from August 11.

According to the decision on assigning work, Party Committee Secretary and Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra is responsible for comprehensively leading and managing all activities under the functions, tasks and powers of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The Minister directly directs the units: Department of Organization and Personnel; Central Emulation and Reward Committee; directly directs and operates the fields of work: Organization and personnel work; Emulation and reward work.

Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra is also Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee; Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Central Emulation and Reward Council; Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Government's Steering Committee for Administrative Reform; Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Steering Committee for salary policy reform, social insurance and preferential treatment for meritorious people; participating in other councils and steering committees established and assigned by the Government and the Prime Minister.

Deputy Minister Vu Chien Thang was assigned to monitor and direct the following units: Department of Organization - Border Guard; Ministry Office; Department of Non-governmental Organizations; Department of Overseas Labor Management; Overseas Labor Center; Overseas Employment Support Fund.

The Deputy Minister also assists the Minister in charge of the following areas: Organization and staffing work; Office work; Association and non-governmental organization work; Overseas labor management; Coordination with political organizations, socio-political organizations; Handling and resolving issues of decentralization and delegation of power; arranging and streamlining the organization of the state administrative apparatus.

Deputy Minister Vu Chien Thang is also Deputy Head of the Department of job Development of the Political System; Member of the Central Mass Work Council; participates in other steering committees and councils according to the assigned work areas.

The decision also clearly states the assignment of work of Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra to 5 Deputy Ministers of Home Affairs.

Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Vu Chien Thang recently had a working session with the Department of Overseas Labor Management to direct the implementation of a number of tasks in the coming time.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister Vu Chien Thang assessed the Department of Overseas Labor Management as having an important role and position in the organizational structure of the Ministry of Home Affairs, contributing positively to the socio-economic development of the country...

Deputy Minister Vu Chien Thang assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to promptly develop working regulations and internal procedures, promptly identify and correct violations, and prevent violations from occurring.
