The arrangement of the state administrative block will be the premise for the Ministry of Home Affairs to continue advising and guiding the arrangement of the administrative apparatus of local governments.

On December 3, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs' Electronic Information Portal, issues of streamlining and reorganizing the apparatus are emphasized in the tasks of implementing work in December 2024 of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Here, Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra stated that General Secretary To Lam affirmed that this is a very urgent issue that must be done immediately, the sooner it is done, the more beneficial it is for the people and the country.

This is a revolution in streamlining the apparatus of the political system, "not just a matter of scale or quantity, but more deeply, it is necessary to create qualitative changes in the operation of the political system".

Streamlining the organizational apparatus goes hand in hand with streamlining the payroll and restructuring the staff with sufficient qualities and capabilities.

Streamlining "does not mean mechanical cuts, but rather eliminating unnecessary positions, reducing ineffective work, thereby focusing resources on key areas, on truly worthy and suitable people".

Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra said that the timelines have been set very specifically by the Central Government, and the Ministry of Home Affairs plays an advisory role to the Central Steering Committee as well as the Government Steering Committee on the reorganization of the Government apparatus.

The arrangement of the State administrative block will be the premise for the Ministry of Home Affairs to continue to advise and guide the arrangement of the administrative apparatus of local governments. This is the most difficult and complicated task, but it is also a very important responsibility that the Ministry of Home Affairs is honored to be assigned by the Politburo, the Central Executive Committee of the Party, the Government, and the Prime Minister.

Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra requested that heads of units under and directly under the Ministry of Home Affairs from now on proactively do a good job of propaganda, unify ideology and awareness in the entire unit, and be determined to join hands and unite to complete assigned tasks well.

"Delay is a mistake to the people" - Minister Tra emphasized and said that in that process, it is certain that individual cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the Ministry of Home Affairs must make sacrifices and suffer disadvantages to contribute to the great cause of the Ministry and the Home Affairs sector.

The Minister noted that it is necessary to work overtime, outside of normal working hours, on Saturdays and Sundays to complete assigned tasks with the best quality; happily comply with the organization's assignments and decisions, and be ready to go to war and win, for the goal of developing the country to become rich and strong in the new era.

Regarding the tasks of December 2024, in addition to the tasks set out in the draft Report, Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra emphasized and requested that the units under the Ministry need to focus highly and urgently complete all tasks assigned by competent authorities in 2024 before December 15, 2024.
