The People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City has just sent a document requesting the People's Committee of Dak Lak province to agree to stop and temporarily suspend the implementation of many plans in the area.
The city proposed to stop the work of preparing the Master Plan until 2045 until the completion of the arrangement of administrative units.
At the same time, the city also proposed to extend the 2025 Master Plan until the 2045 Master Plan is approved.
For urban planning and construction planning projects that are not in line with the urban space development orientation, the city also proposed to stop implementation.
The city also proposed to stop planning areas where most households have been granted residential land and constructed works and houses.
Instead, the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City proposed to implement management according to the City Architecture Management Regulations that are being submitted to Dak Lak Province for consideration and approval.
The city also proposed to stop implementing the Urban Development Program for the period 2016-2025, with a vision to 2030. This program will continue to be researched and implemented after completing the arrangement of administrative units.
