Meeting with veterans and meritorious people of Regiment 271 of Tri Thien Military Region at the National Assembly House, on behalf of the National Assembly Standing Committee, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man sent wishes of good health and congratulations to the veterans and meritorious people of the Regiment and their families.
Reviewing the combat history and achievements of Regiment 271 during 14 years of operation (from August 1971 to February 1983), National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized that Regiment 271 of Tri Thien Military Region has contributed to building the glorious tradition of the Vietnam People's Army.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man also informed the veterans and meritorious people of Regiment 271 about some outstanding results in the country's socio-economic development in 2024. Despite many difficulties and challenges, after more than 10 years, for the first time, our country achieved and exceeded all 15/15 main socio-economic targets.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man stated that the Party and State always pay attention, have many policies and devote many resources to implementing social security policies.
In 2024, the Prime Minister launched the emulation movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025", striving to complete the goal 5 years ahead of the Party Resolution.
At the recent 8th Session, the National Assembly allowed the use of the source of 5% reduction and savings in 2024 of the central budget and local budgets to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households.
Emphasizing that 2025 is the year of acceleration and breakthrough for the country to enter a new era - the era of the Vietnamese people's rise, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man hopes that veterans and meritorious people of Regiment 271 of Tri Thien Military Region will continue to promote the nature and glorious tradition of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers".
Especially exemplary in labor, production, creating wealth and material, both enriching the family and actively participating in building and developing the country.
At the same time, continue to contribute to the cause of protecting the Fatherland, maintaining security, order and social safety in the locality; contribute to educating the younger generation about revolutionary traditions and heroism; care for, encourage and educate children in the family to take care of their studies, improve their qualifications and access science and technology.
