On the afternoon of April 22, Inspection and Supervision Delegation No. 26 of the Politburo led by Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi announced the Decision on inspection and supervision of the Politburo and the Secretariat for the 2nd phase of 2026 for the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee (CATW).
According to the Ministry of Public Security's Electronic Information Portal, at the conference, delegates listened to representatives of Inspection and Supervision Delegation No. 26 announce the Decision on inspection and supervision phase 2 of the Politburo and the Secretariat; the plan and working schedule of the Delegation.
Speaking at the conference, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi said that in this inspection, Inspection and Supervision Team No. 26 has the task of inspecting and supervising 4 important contents.
First, the organization and operation of agencies and units in localities after operating the 2-level local government;
Second, tasks and solutions to ensure the implementation of the target of average gross domestic product (GDP) growth in the period 2026-2030 from 10% or more according to the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress;
Third, the leadership, direction, and organization of the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs, development of science, technology, innovation, national digital transformation and related documents;
Finally, the implementation of reviewing, evaluating, and ranking the quality of Party organizations, Party members, and collectives and individuals of cadres, leaders, and managers at all levels.
To meet the goals and requirements of the inspection, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi requested the Standing Committee of the CATW Party Committee to closely coordinate with the Delegation, provide complete dossiers, documents and reports according to suggested outlines, and assign focal points to coordinate with the Delegation.
At the same time, members of the Inspection and Supervision Team will deploy a working plan with a number of Party organizations and units directly under the Standing Committee of the CATW Party Committee with a serious and scientific spirit, implementing regulations correctly, ensuring quality and efficiency, and not affecting the political tasks of agencies and units.

Also at the conference, Deputy Minister of Public Security Le Quoc Hung emphasized that the Standing Committee of the CATW Party Committee determined that the Central Government's guidelines on 4 inspection and supervision contents in this second phase play an extremely important role in implementing the Party's strategic goals.
Therefore, immediately after receiving the direction of the Central Party Committee, the Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the CATW Party Committee were drastic, urgent, and exemplary in taking the lead in implementation.
The Party Committee of CATW and the Ministry of Public Security have set an example and taken the lead in implementing the 3-level Police and 2-level Local Police models from March 1, 2025, which are evaluated as operating well, providing a basis and practical experience for the entire political system to refer to.
The Party Committee of CATW, the Ministry of Public Security promptly reported to the Politburo on the tasks and strategic solutions under the management function of the Ministry of Public Security to realize the goal of double-digit growth in the period 2026 - 2030 and continue to grow rapidly and sustainably to 2045; proposed a list of some tasks of the Ministry of Public Security to realize the goal of double-digit growth in the period 2026 - 2030 and continue to grow rapidly and sustainably to 2045.
Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung affirmed that the Standing Committee of the CATW Party Committee highly agreed with the inspection plan and working schedule of the Delegation; is ready to exchange, closely coordinate, and promptly and fully provide relevant dossiers and documents as requested by the Delegation; direct units to prepare content and conditions to serve the Delegation's work according to the plan.
