At the meeting, delegates informed and discussed a number of proposals of the Standing Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee. At the same time, it is recommended that the Minister of National Defense and the competent agencies of the Ministry of National Defense and the Military Region 3 Command consider, pay attention to solving and removing some difficulties and obstacles in military and defense work in localities associated with the task of socio-economic development.
Hai Duong proposed that the Ministry of National Defense consider and direct the review and adjustment of some areas out of priority terrain for national defense tasks to serve mineral exploitation and tourism development projects in the province.
Hai Duong also proposed that the Ministry of National Defense agree to transfer real estate facilities under the management of the Ministry of National Defense in the province that are no longer in need of use to Hai Duong province for management to implement socio-economic development; consider and allow the demolition of 2 old, small lots located on National Highway 17B, Ngu Phuc commune area (Kim Thanh district) to create conditions for upgrading National Highway 17B.
Regarding the proposal to invest in building Military Hospital 7 into a high-quality medical facility in the military and provincial health system, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province proposed that the Ministry of National Defense consider and approve the plan to move and build the hospital to a new location in Lien Hong commune (Hai Duong city) and Thong Nhat commune (Gia Loc district) with a total area of about 7.5 hectares.
Speaking at the meeting, Minister of National Defense Phan Van Giang acknowledged, highly appreciated, commended and congratulated Hai Duong on its achievements in implementing the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress for the 2020 - 2025 term.
Minister of National Defense Phan Van Giang suggested that the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee pay attention to leading and directing the implementation of a number of key contents, in the process of socio-economic development, it must be closely linked to strengthening national defense and security; continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement resolutions and conclusions on military and defense strategies.
The Military Region 3 Command, the Hai Duong Provincial Military Command, advises and proposes to the Ministry of National Defense to organize and arrange military agencies appropriately when implementing the arrangement of the apparatus without district-level military agencies.
