Starting from March 1, the Department of Health of Hai Duong province has 6 specialized departments: Inspectorate, Organization - Administration, Planning - Finance, Medical Affairs, Pharmacy Affairs, Social Protection and Prevention of Social evils. The affiliated units include 10 provincial hospitals: Provincial General Hospital, Lung, Pediatrics, Tropical Diseases, Mental Health, Phong, Obstetrics, Rehabilitation, Traditional Medicine, Eye and Dermatology.
The Department also manages 12 District, Town and City Health Centers; 6 Provincial Centers: Disease Control; Forensic Medicine; Testing for drugs - cosmetics - Food; Protecting the health of Hai Duong province's officials; Nurturing the spirit of meritorious people and society in Hai Duong province; Social protection in Hai Duong province.The Hai Duong Provincial Department of Health received 502 civil servants, 12 public employees and 1 office worker from the old Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; 23 officers from the Cadre Health Protection Board.
Many managers said that at first, before the model was transferred to the Department of Health for management, most of the staff and civil servants had some regrets about the memories of their many years of working.However, performing political tasks and in accordance with the direction of superiors, the Department of Health directly manages but does not change the functions and tasks of the fields in which it is working, so everyone is excited, will quickly approach and get acquainted with the new working and management model.
According to Director of the Department of Health Tran Quang Canh, the units handed over to the Department of Health for management will be more complete and ensure close linkage in the model of health care for people, social protection, vulnerable groups such as people with disabilities, children, the elderly, etc. The Department of Health will quickly deploy solutions to soon stabilize the organization of the apparatus, put it into operation, ensuring that it does not affect the progress of performing tasks, while linking the streamlining of the apparatus with restructuring the team of cadres and civil servants with sufficient qualities, capacity, and equal to the tasks.
