Proposing the Ministry of Finance to work and agree on salary adjustment expenditure

The Deputy Prime Minister suggested that the Ministry of Finance work with ministries and branches on the content of expenditures on tuition support, health check-ups; and salary adjustment expenditures.

On the afternoon of August 1, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc met with ministries and branches on the financial and budget plan for the 2026-2030 period and a number of contents related to the state budget and public investment.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyen Duc Chi presented a report on the implementation of financial and budgetary tasks for the period 2021-2025; expected state budget balance for the period 2026-2030, clearly stating the results achieved, shortcomings, limitations, some issues and goals, targets, and solutions to focus on in the coming time.

Representatives of ministries and branches (Government Office, Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Public Security, State Bank; Ministry of Health, Ministry of Science and Technology; Ministry of Education and Training; Ministry of Construction; Ministry of Home Affairs; Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment; Ministry of Justice) basically agreed with the content of the report of the Ministry of Finance on the financial and budget plan for the 2026-2030 period.

At the same time, representatives of ministries and branches spoke about the contents related to the goals and indicators of the macro (budget revenue - expenditure, expenditure budget, public debt threshold, repayment of debt obligations; budget collection and resource mobilization; total public investment capital...); investment needs for sectors and fields in the 2026-2030 period (in addition to the task of regular expenditure) and solutions that need to be focused on towards the double-digit growth target associated with ensuring social security...

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc requested the Ministry of Finance to absorb the opinions of ministries and branches, complete the financial plan to ensure consistency and high feasibility to report to competent authorities according to regulations.

The Government leader emphasized the need to ensure consistency and synchronization between the 5-year financial plan and socio-economic development plans, public debt repayment plans and other plans as well as targets that have been approved by competent authorities.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Finance to work with ministries and branches on the content of expenditures on tuition support, health examination, medical examination and treatment, construction of boarding schools; science - technology expenditure; education and training expenditure; salary adjustment expenditure; guarantee debt payment; security, national defense... to develop an estimate with appropriate, effective and accurate solutions.
