On July 26, the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense working delegation led by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiaries in Quang Tri province.
Joining the delegation was Colonel Ngo Nam Cuong, Deputy Commander of Military Region 4, Colonel Doan Sinh Hoa, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command.
This is an activity in a series of activities to celebrate the 78th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1945 - July 27, 2025), to pay tribute to policy families and people with meritorious services to the revolution in Quang Tri province.
Senior General Nguyen Van Hien directly visited and presented gifts to the families of: Armed Forces Hero Truong Dinh Hai and Armed Forces Hero Le Thi Thanh (both residing in Dong Ha ward); Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, 81% war invalid (residing in Nam Dong Ha ward); Professional Military Major Do Thi Lan Huong, wife of Lieutenant Colonel, martyr Bui Phi Cong, died while on duty in October 2020 at Rao Trang 3 Hydropower Plant, Hue City (residing in Nam Dong Ha ward); Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Giao Linh, wife of Lieutenant Colonel, martyr Pham Ngoc Quyet, died while on duty in October 2020 at Economic - Defense Group 337 - Military Region 4 (old district), permanent resident in Dong Ha Ward.
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien expressed his gratitude and deep gratitude for the contributions of revolutionary families in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
At the same time, he affirmed that the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense always pay special attention to and care for policy work and people with revolutionary contributions and hopes that through practical and meaningful activities, they will contribute to sharing and encouraging their families to rise up in life.
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien also hopes that his family of policy beneficiaries and people with revolutionary contributions in Quang Tri province will always promote revolutionary traditions, be a shining example for generations of children to learn and follow, contributing to building the homeland to develop more and more.
