The Politburo's inspection team worked with the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee on the draft Report on the inspection results of a number of key work topics in 2025.

On March 20, the Politburo's Inspection Team No. 1909 led by Mr. Tran Cam Tu - Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat - had a working session with the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee to approve the draft Report on the inspection results of a number of key topics of work in 2025 of the Politburo and the Central Party Secretariat, according to VNA.

Working with the delegation were Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai - Politburo member, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hanoi City; leaders of the city, a number of departments, branches, districts and towns of Hanoi.

Key inspection contents include:

The implementation of Directive No. 35-CT/TW dated June 14, 2024 of the 13th Politburo on Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party;

Conclusion No. 118-KL/TW dated January 18, 2025 of the Politburo on adjusting and supplementing a number of contents of Directive No. 35-CT/TW;

Initial results of streamlining the apparatus, rearranging development space, wards and communes in sync with organizing congresses and organizing the government;

Implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation; implementation of the Central Committee's conclusions on socio-economic development.

The delegation approved the draft Inspection Results Report; at the same time, exchanged, discussed, clarified related contents, accepted feedback, especially lessons learned, difficulties, problems, recommendations, and proposals from Hanoi.

Speaking at the Conference, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu acknowledged and highly appreciated the coordination of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, as well as the efforts and initial results of implementing the policies, resolutions and conclusions of the Politburo and the Secretariat.

Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu noted a number of important issues, limitations and shortcomings that Hanoi needs to focus on overcoming to improve the quality, efficiency and progress of work, concretize the Central Committee's policies and resolutions; at the same time, request the city's Party committees and authorities to be proactive, not to let the situation of pushing and avoiding occur.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, accepting the direction of the Head of the Inspection Team and the Conclusion Report of the Inspection Team, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai affirmed that immediately after the working session, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee will implement the conclusions of the Inspection Team and the notes of the Head of the Team; propose plans to implement the contents requested by the Team.

Along with the solutions being implemented and new solutions, Hanoi focuses on overcoming existing limitations, speeding up progress, improving the quality and effectiveness of the implementation of resolutions and conclusions of the Politburo and the Secretariat.

In particular, the focus is on organizing the arrangement of grassroots governments, so that after the arrangement, they can best serve the people; quickly promote solutions to implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW, make science and technology, digital transformation truly a driving force for development; effectively implement Directive 35.CT/TW, Conclusion 118-KL/TW; promote economic development solutions, handle urgent issues related to people's lives and urban traffic.
