On April 3, in Hanoi, the Standing Committee of the Petition and Supervision Committee held a meeting to explain and provide information on the settlement and response to voters' petitions sent to the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly.
Accordingly, through meetings with voters of National Assembly deputies, 2,033 petitions from voters have been received and compiled.
Vice Chairwoman of the Committee for Petition and Supervision Tran Thi Nhi Ha said that the voters' petitions are related to most areas of social life such as education and training, labor, employment, social policies; health; transportation; agriculture, rural areas; resources, environment, etc.
Up to now, according to Ms. Ha, 1,936/2,033 petitions have been resolved and responded to (reaching 95.2%).
Ms. Tran Thi Nhi Ha added that the Government, ministries and central branches have been very active, focusing on directing the resolution and response to a large number of voters' petitions.
Many ministries and branches have innovated in receiving and researching, so some voters' recommendations have been resolved quickly, contributing to solving problems that are of great concern to voters.
Some recommendations directly related to the rights of the people have been studied and resolved promptly by ministries and branches, such as: proposal to expand the list of health services and register for initial health insurance examination and treatment;...
At the meeting, delegates requested ministries and branches to urgently review the recommendations that are in the process of being resolved, ensuring quality resolution, in accordance with the roadmap reported to voters.
