The Politburo has issued Resolution No. 25-NQ/TW on the Strategy for Ideological Work in the new context. This is the first time the Party's ideological work has been established at the level of a comprehensive, long-term strategy, with a thematic resolution of the Politburo, with specific goals, targets, resources and responsibilities.
Resolution No. 25-NQ/TW sets out some specific goals to 2030.
In which, ideological work is carried out synchronously and effectively in both real and digital spaces, at home and abroad: 100% of communes have ideological work forces, operating regularly in each residential area; 100% of communes connect to information source systems; people in all areas have access to official two-way information.
Each major policy, resolution, and policy has a synchronous communication plan according to each target group, spreading synchronously to all strata of the People; the people's hearts are firmly consolidated.
The whole country formed a network of 15,000 - 20,000 reputable people, people with positive influence participating in ideological work.
The multi-platform, multilingual foreign communication ecosystem operates effectively; the Vietnamese community abroad actively spreads the image of the country, cultural values, people and development achievements of the country.
The Resolution also sets a target that by 2030, the team of cadres working in ideological work will have sufficient qualities and capacity; the data system, technology and infrastructure will be synchronously and modernly completed: 100% of communes have full-time cadres;
100% of cadres working in ideological work at all levels, members of the Steering Committee, Working Committee 35, and people performing information tasks at the grassroots level are trained and fostered annually; the entire Party has 4,000 - 6,000 core propaganda cadres who are deeply trained.
Standing firm against all fluctuations of the information environment
At the national conference to study, study, thoroughly grasp and implement a number of Resolutions and Directives of the Politburo held on the morning of September 3rd, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Training Commission Trinh Van Quyet said that the Resolution sets a general goal of maintaining the leading role of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh's ideology and the Party's guidelines in the spiritual life of society.
Ideological work operates unifiedly and smoothly from the Central to the grassroots levels, in both real and digital spaces, at home and abroad; preventing and repelling degradation, "self-evolution", "self-transformation"; ensuring ideological security in all situations; ideological cadres with bravery, intelligence, and prestige; the people's trust and social consensus are firmly consolidated, becoming an endogenous resource of development.
Head of the Central Propaganda and Training Commission Trinh Van Quyet also said that the outstanding new point is the Resolution quantifying the targets to 2030 into 5 groups with countable indicators.
In which, he noted a number of targets such as all Party committees and Party organizations putting ideological work into the work program and annual review content; early identification and timely refutation of wrong views using scientific arguments; recommendations and reflections of the People are received and answered within the prescribed time limit; 100% of communes have ideological work forces operating regularly in each residential area, have full-time officials and connect information source systems; form a network of 15,000 - 20,000 reputable people, people with positive influence; in-depth training of 4,000 - 6,000 core propaganda cadres.
Vision to 2045: ideological work becomes an internal capacity of the Party and the entire nation, proactively shaping social awareness, firmly standing in the face of all fluctuations of the information environment.
