Visiting and experiencing the Spring Fair space, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son acknowledged that the decoration, spatial design, and display of booths, from aesthetic and artistic perspectives to cultural elements, have basically met the requirements set out by the Organizing Committee and the Steering Committee.
The Deputy Prime Minister assessed that the Fair has created a real space for people to visit, experience and enjoy the colors of spring. Especially, during yesterday and today, which is the Lunar New Year, people are both preparing for a new spring and enjoying the crystallized values of national culture through the Fair space.
Secondly, in terms of scale, it can be seen that the Spring Fair is different in nature from the Autumn Fair held in 2025. This is the first Spring Fair to be held on the largest scale ever. The Fair space is very spacious; the booths are arranged neatly and scientifically, creating a feeling of peace but at the same time helping people travel and visit very comfortably, in line with the spirit of coming to enjoy Spring.

Third, the Deputy Prime Minister assessed that the service and organization of the Fair were deployed relatively smoothly, meeting the needs of the people, both sightseeing, shopping, and preparing for Tet. Through the actual recording of the market management force, it can be seen that the quality of goods at the Fair is well ensured. Vietnamese goods account for a very high proportion, possibly over 90% are products produced in Vietnam, made by Vietnamese farmers and businesses themselves, with good quality, designs and packaging being increasingly improved.
Directly visiting the booths, the Deputy Prime Minister acknowledged that the product designs are very beautiful, quality is guaranteed, and many products meet OCOP standards. Thus, people coming to the Fair not only shop but also enjoy specialties from regions, contributing to bringing a warm and prosperous Tet.
Although the Organizing Committee has well implemented transportation and delivery services from the place of purchase to people's homes, the psychology of "going to the market and returning home" is still very characteristic. Personally, I am also like that, I still want to bring the product back immediately to introduce and share with relatives what I have bought today, instead of having to wait for goods to be delivered later. Therefore, I think this organization method is very suitable for consumer psychology" - the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.

Quickly reporting to the Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Vu Ba Phu - Director of the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade), Head of the Organizing Committee of the 1st Spring Fair in 2026, said that as of February 5, 2026, the number of visitors and transactions at the Fair reached over 100,000 people in 4 days of the Fair. The number of visitors to the Fair is increasing day by day. In which, the number of visitors increased sharply after 10:00 am and after 7:00 pm.
To serve more effectively the customer segment coming to visit, trade, and shop in the evening, the Organizing Committee of the Fair decided to extend the opening time of the Fair by 1 hour (until 10:00 PM daily on weekends from February 6-8, 2026).
Regarding revenue, the Organizing Committee informed that the revenue of local booths is on average about 50-500 million VND, of which Son La and Lao Cai provinces are in the top of high revenue reaching billions of VND. Many businesses in sub-zones managed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment have diverse promotional programs, stimulating demand, bringing more quality products with beautiful and diverse designs to the Fair. By February 5, 2026, 75% of booths had higher revenue than the first 3 days of the Fair.
