On the afternoon of April 17, in Hanoi, the 4th Summit of the Partnership Forum for Green Growth and Global Goals 2030 (P4G) closed.
In his closing speech, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh informed: "At this year's conference, based on the contributions of all P4G members and partners, the conference approved the Hanoi Declaration on sustainable green transformation, taking people as the center and the P4G Declaration on strengthening cooperation and coordination between P4G and international organizations and mechanisms on green growth".
In particular, according to the Prime Minister, the discussion sessions at the conference were exciting, with many opinions sharing valuable lessons, good and successful stories and proposing many breakthrough initiatives for green development.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized the 5 consensus results that the P4G conference hosted by Vietnam has achieved:
First, the consensus on financial mobilization promotes green transformation, sustainable development of public-private partnership models and creative financial policies.
Second, the consensus on encouraging the research and development of green technology solutions, investing more in the innovation ecosystem, especially the startup ecosystem, creating conditions for small and medium enterprises to access necessary resources and support.
Third, the consensus on transforming the sustainable agricultural and food system, both ensuring food security, nutritional security, and playing an important role in environmental protection and sustainable development.
Fourth, the consensus on developing and training a high-quality workforce, especially in the fields of science, technology and innovation. Prioritize ensuring that all individuals have full access to education, expand job opportunities and reduce social inequality.
Fifth, agree on efficient and sustainable energy transition, environmental friendliness, enhancing cooperation in technology development and sharing, providing preferential loans for renewable energy projects, building necessary infrastructure to support energy transition, and encouraging the participation of the private sector in this field.
"The total consensus of the above 5 consensus shows consensus on thinking, awareness, sharing common responsibility, solidarity, promoting multilateral cooperation to act together, win together" - the Prime Minister shared.
Through the 4th P4G Summit, the Prime Minister hoped that delegates would witness and feel Vietnam's spirit of effort and responsibility in implementing commitments on sustainable development, green growth in general and within the P4G framework in particular.
At the closing ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presented the symbol of hosting the 5th P4G Summit to Ethiopia Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali.
"I wish Ethiopia to successfully host the P4G Summit in 2027, continuing to promote the significance of the P4G cooperation process after the successes of the conferences in Denmark, Korea, Colombia and Vietnam" - the Prime Minister said.
