This content is stated in Directive No. 06/CT-TTg of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on urging the implementation of key tasks after the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year holiday in 2026.
The Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Home Affairs to take the lead and coordinate with agencies and localities to take the lead in assessing the situation of public service discipline and order; resolutely prevent cadres, civil servants, and public employees from spring outings during office hours; urgently deploy local and unit political tasks.
At the same time, promote the exemplary role of heads of agencies and units in complying with public service culture.
Officials, civil servants, public employees, and laborers in state administrative agencies, relevant agencies and organizations urgently resolve and handle work from the first working day, especially unfinished and unfinished work due to Tet holidays.
Strictly implement administrative discipline, labor discipline, do not organize spring trips, do not go to festivals during office hours; do not use state budget, vehicles, and public assets against regulations for festival and entertainment activities.
The Ministry of Home Affairs is also assigned to preside over and coordinate with agencies and localities to closely monitor and promptly grasp the situation of the labor market and employment after the Tet holiday, and have solutions to support businesses to overcome labor shortages, support workers to return to production, and prevent the supply of labor from breaking down.
Promoting the building of harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations in enterprises, minimizing labor disputes and strikes; promptly handling arising cases based on dialogue and negotiation.
Propagate to raise the awareness of law compliance of workers and employers; actively deploy sending workers abroad under labor contracts, ensuring quality and efficiency.
Preside over and coordinate with the Office of the National Election Council and relevant agencies to guide professional operations for the organization of the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; advise on plans to strengthen inspection, urging, and guiding localities to ensure uniformity nationwide, not allowing localities to apply differently.
The Prime Minister also assigned the Ministry of Education and Training to preside over and coordinate with agencies and localities to direct and guide educational and training institutions to synchronously implement the 2025-2026 school year plan.
Promptly grasp the situation and psychology of learners, especially students in remote and isolated areas, ethnic minority areas, and students in difficult circumstances to organize activities to support students to return to school after the Tet holiday.
Closely coordinate with relevant functional agencies and educational institutions to monitor and maintain school and classroom hygiene measures, ensuring ventilation and safety.
