On the morning of November 9, in Khuat Xa commune, Lang Son province, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Khuat Xa Commune Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities.
This is the first project for a series of 11 inter-level boarding schools in the border area of Lang Son province, part of the program to build 248 border schools nationwide according to Notice No. 81-TB/TW of the Politburo and Resolution No. 298/NQ-CP of the Government.

Khuat Xa commune is a locality with 12.5 km of border with China, and people's lives are still difficult.
In the near future, the locality will be invested in building a modern, synchronous school, meeting the learning needs of more than 1,400 students.
The project not only has educational significance but is also a symbol of the belief and will to rise up of the people in the border area.

The representative of the Lang Son Provincial People's Committee affirmed that they will hand over the entire clean site, creating the most favorable conditions for the construction unit to implement on schedule, ensuring quality and safety.
The province will direct departments, branches and localities to closely coordinate, provide maximum support to investors and construction units throughout the construction process; direct the Department of Education and Training as the investor and related units to focus on completing the project on schedule, ensuring quality, safety and efficiency.

At the same time, the province will closely coordinate with local authorities, consulting and supervising units, creating all favorable conditions for the project to be completed soon, put into use and welcome students in the 2026-2027 school year; fully prepare conditions for staff, programs and facilities for the school to operate effectively.

On the same day, the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of ethnic minority schools in the border communes of Quoc Khanh, Kien Moc and Mau Son was also held.
