On August 20, in Hanoi, the National Assembly Office organized a training course on protecting state secrets for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the advisory and support agencies of the National Assembly Party Committee; professional departments of the Ethnic Council and the National Assembly Committees; units under the National Assembly Office.
Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Nguyen Thi Thuy Ngan stated that the strong development of information technology and political security in the region as well as in the world still has many complex factors, the acts of collecting, appropriating and exploiting state secret information are increasingly sophisticated.
This context requires the work of protecting state secrets in agencies to be an important task, in order to protect national and ethnic interests; ensure political - social stability and national defense and security.
The Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office stated that the training course was organized to raise awareness, responsibility as well as equip knowledge and professional skills for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to ensure that during the performance of their duties, they seriously and effectively implement the provisions of the Law on Protection of State Secrets and related legal regulations on the protection of state secrets.
This is an opportunity for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers to update new knowledge, exchange, share experiences, and handle difficulties in performing tasks.
At the same time, the issues acquired through the training course will help cadres, specialists, and workers gain more knowledge and practical experience to apply to work at agencies and units; helping to improve the quality of state secret protection in the coming time.
According to the Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office, protecting state secrets is not only a legal requirement but also an important political task associated with the reputation of each agency, unit and individual. Therefore, regular training and raising awareness and professional skills is an urgent requirement and needs to be seriously implemented.
The Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office believes that after the training course, each student will become a " core" of propaganda to effectively carry out the work of protecting state secrets in their unit.
At the training session, Lieutenant Colonel Le Quang Trung, Department of Internal Political Security (Ministry of Public Security) informed about the current situation of the risk of leakage and loss of state secrets; disseminated legal regulations on the protection of state secrets; the issue of preventing leakage of state secrets through communication media.
The list of state secrets protection by industry and field focuses on the list of state secrets of the National Assembly, agencies of the National Assembly, agencies under the National Assembly Standing Committee, the National Assembly Office and the National Assembly Delegation.
In addition, Lieutenant Colonel Le Quang Trung also disseminated necessary skills in advising and implementing tasks on the protection of state secrets.
