On March 25, in Hanoi, a meeting and dialogue program was held between the Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the Minister of Public Security; the First Secretary of the Central Youth Union with the Youth Union cadres and Youth Union members of the People's Public Security; and to commend and award the "Outstanding Police Young Faces" award in 2024.
Politburo member, Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang and Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union Bui Quang Huy co-chaired the dialogue with the Youth Union members of the People's Public Security.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Toan - Director of the Department of Political Affairs and Lieutenant Colonel Dong Duc Vu - Head of the CAND Youth Department participated in the dialogue.
According to the Ministry of Public Security's Electronic Information Portal, at the program, Minister Luong Tam Quang, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Bui Quang Huy presented certificates and symbols to 20 outstanding young police faces in 2024.
These are faces that are not only good at their professional expertise, have high achievements in studying and training but are also the core of the Youth Union and Youth movement, have been recognized as "Emulation Fighter" for many consecutive years and have been awarded many noble awards by the State, the Government, the Ministry of Public Security, and the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
Speaking at the program, Minister Luong Tam Quang acknowledged and praised the efforts, achievements, and results that the cadres and youth union members of the entire force have achieved in the past time.
Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized that General Secretary To Lam at the 2024 year-end conference of the Central Public Security Party Committee raised the big question "What should the police do in the new era, the era of national growth".
Minister Luong Tam Quang suggested that the young people of the People's Public Security must have ambitions, aspirations, strive to establish themselves, make a career, be proactive, creative, be ready to be present in all places of difficulties and hardships and be ready to accept new tasks.
In the new revolutionary period, the police youth must take the lead in implementing the Party's policies, first of all, building a lean, compact, strong, modern People's Public Security, in national digital transformation, preventing waste, movements to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, etc.
For the Party committees at all levels in the People's Public Security, it is necessary to study and thoroughly grasp the situation and tasks of public security work in the new situation, promote high responsibility for practical work of educating political ideology, ethics, and cultural lifestyle for young people, especially the awareness of dedication to serving the people.
Focus on perfecting the organization and work of cadres, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the activities of delegation organizations at all levels in the People's Public Security according to the new organizational model of the Ministry of Public Security, strongly directing activities to the grassroots with the goal of taking union members as the center.
