Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Deputy Minister of Public Security Tran Quoc To said that the National Press Award "For National Security and Peace of Life" for the period 2023 - 2025 with nearly 1,300 entries, of which 152 entries to the final round and 72 winning entries.
The Deputy Minister of Public Security expressed his emotion, knowing that many journalists and groups of authors have not overcome difficulties, overcome challenges, and have devoted a lot of enthusiasm, intelligence, and high responsibility with deep affection for the People's Public Security Force (CAND).

At the ceremony, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized that the People's Public Security and press forces are becoming increasingly important.
The People's Public Security Forces are the core, the barrier, the steel shield; the press is a special political and ideological force, a pioneering shock force, the eye to protect the Party, protect the State, and protect the people.
From the vivid practice and requirements of the cause of defending the Fatherland in the new period, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia suggested that press agencies, journalists, especially those who write on the topic of security and order, should pay attention to implementing some contents well.
In particular, he suggested continuing to thoroughly grasp and comprehensively grasp the Central's policies and strategic decisions on building, developing the country and defending the Fatherland.
The press needs to promote political courage, social responsibility and professional conscience to comprehensively, objectively and promptly reflect the efforts and achievements of the People's Public Security force in protecting political security, social order and safety, with the spirit of respect for the people, being close to the people, "When the people need it, when the people have difficulties to have police".
