People expect the new government
On the morning of June 30, at 10.3 Square (Dak Lak province), a ceremony was held to announce Resolutions and Decisions of the Central and local governments on the merger of administrative units; the establishment of party organizations; appointing Party committees, People's Councils, People's Committees and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels under provinces, communes and wards in Dak Lak province.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngan (64 years old, retired cadre) and four compatriots from Phu Yen went to Dak Lak to attend the ceremony, joining in the joyful and exciting atmosphere with the people of Phu Yen and Dak Lak provinces.
Ms. Ngan said that her group departed on June 29 and stayed overnight in Buon Ma Thuot city to prepare for the event.
Despite having to travel for many hours, she and many representatives of Phu Yen people still felt excited and proud to witness this important moment
"I hope that after this merger, the two provinces of Dak Lak and Phu Yen will unite, exchange cultures, integrate and develop the economy together, and build a new, rich and vibrant Dak Lak province with identity," Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngan shared.
As one of the young representatives attending the event, Mr. Vo Tien Tuan Nie - Deputy Head of the Dak Lak Provincial Schools for the Gifted - expressed his hope: "The merger of the two provinces will contribute to streamlining the government apparatus, improving management efficiency and serving the people.
With the potential, resources and experience of both localities, I believe that the new Dak Lak province will continuously develop comprehensively in many fields".
Like many other people, Mr. Nie hopes that when the two provinces become a common house, the people of Phu Yen and Dak Lak will stick together, share and support each other in life, study and work.
This solidarity will be a solid foundation for together building a rich and sustainable Dak Lak province.
Building a civilized, beautiful, and identity-rich province
In a solemn atmosphere, the ceremony on June 30 also announced the Politburo's Decisions on appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term; the Prime Minister's Decision on appointing the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee (new).
Speaking at the ceremony, the new Dak Lak Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dinh Trung expressed his honor, pride and deep awareness of responsibility before the Party Committee, cadres, Party members and people of all walks of life in the province.
In the newly assigned position, the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province pledged to devote all its efforts to the development of the province in the new period.
Dak Lak province will continue to arouse and strongly promote the tradition of solidarity of the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in the province, exploiting the potential and advantages of the new Dak Lak province.
In the coming time, Dak Lak province is determined to strive, make efforts to overcome difficulties and challenges to successfully implement the policies and guidelines of the Party and State, especially the 4 resolutions of the "four pillars".
"Dak Lak aims to build a province with rapid and sustainable development, increasingly rich, civilized and imbued with identity. We will strive to create a solid foundation to enter a new era with the whole country - the era of strong and remarkable development of the Vietnamese people", Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung emphasized.
