On July 1, the People's Council of Quang Tri province, term VIII, 2021 - 2026, held its first session.
Here, authorized by the National Assembly Standing Committee, Mr. Nguyen Long Hai - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, announced a resolution on the appointment of personnel for the leadership of the People's Council of Quang Tri province.
The National Assembly Standing Committee resolved to appoint Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Tri province for the 2021 - 2026 term.
The Resolution also appoints other important leadership positions of the People's Council of Quang Tri province.
The 3 Vice Chairmen of the People's Council of Quang Tri province for the 2021 - 2026 term include: Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; Mr. Nguyen Tran Huy - Member of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Le Vinh The - Member of the Provincial Party Committee.
The Heads of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Council were also appointed, including: Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi to hold the position of Head of the Legal Committee; Mr. Nguyen Dang Anh to hold the position of Head of the Economic - Budget Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai to hold the position of Head of the Cultural - Social Committee; Mr. Vo Ngoc Thanh to hold the position of Head of the Ethnic Committee.
