On the morning of December 10, the People's Council of Quang Tri province, term VIII, 2021 - 2026, opened its 5th session.
The opening session of the morning includes the following contents: flag-raising, declaration of reasons, introduction of delegates, approval of the session agenda and directives from the Provincial Party Secretary. The Provincial People's Committee presented reports on the socio-economic situation, national defense and security in 2025, the plan for 2026 and the period 2026 - 2030.
Agencies such as the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Court, the Procuracy, the Civil Judgment Enforcement Department and the Provincial People's Committee also reported the results of work in 2025, the direction for 2026, and the results of handling voters' petitions sent to the session.
The regular meeting at the end of 2025 of the People's Council of Quang Tri province will consider a large volume of important contents related to socio-economic development, budget, public investment, security, environment and policy system for the period 2026 - 2030.
The Provincial People's Committee has submitted many reports, including socio-economic assessment in 2025, plan for 2026; summary of the period 2021 - 2025; allocation of public investment capital; budget revenue and expenditure estimate for 2026; implementation of the Constitution, anti-corruption, practicing thrift, fighting waste, receiving citizens and handling complaints and denunciations.
The Provincial People's Council will consider many resolutions in the fields of: civil servant payroll; land use planning; conversion of forest use purposes; budget 2026; socio-economic development plan 2026 - 2030; public investment; land price list; ethnic policies; mechanism to support education, health, social security; 5-year finances; regulations on information technology, industrial promotion, grassroots security; regulations on tuition fees, learning support; criteria to determine areas lacking public schools; lending policies; investment incentives...
