Regarding the content of Mr. Nguyen Hoang Khai's question, the Ministry of Public Security said: Mr. Khai was recruited into the People's Public Security in 2023 with an intermediate level to work as a medical doctor, but it was not clear whether he was recruited into the People's Public Security (under the People's Public Security payroll) or recruited under a labor contract (not under the People's Public Security payroll), so there is no basis to answer which salary scale he is classified according to.
On the other hand, the salary table of the People's Public Security Forces does not have a coefficient of 1.65; the salary table prescribed for medical officers with intermediate qualifications also does not have a salary coefficient of 1.65.
Therefore, to fully answer Mr. Nguyen Hoang Khai's question, the Ministry of Public Security requests that he discuss with the Personnel Organization Department of the Provincial Police (where he is working) for guidance and answers.
According to Decree 73/2024/ND-CP, non-commissioned officers and conscripts of the People's Public Security are the group of subjects to be applied the new basic salary from July 1. The new basic salary from July 1 will be 2.34 million VND/month.
The formula for calculating police salary is as follows: Salary = Salary coefficient x Basic salary.
In which: Salary coefficient will be based on Decree 204/2004/ND-CP on salary regime for cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces in Table 6 and Table 7.
