Today (September 26), the National Assembly Standing Committee continues its 49th session.
Accordingly, the meeting will consider and approve the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee regulating the organization of voter conferences; the introduction of candidates for People's Council delegates at the commune level in villages and residential groups; the consultation, introduction of candidates, listing of candidates for National Assembly delegates, and nomination of People's Council delegates in additional elections.
At the same time, the National Assembly Standing Committee will consider the draft Joint Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Government and the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front guiding the bargaining process, introducing candidates for the 16th National Assembly, People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
In addition, considering the draft Joint Resolution amending and supplementing Joint Resolution No. 72/2025/NQLT/UBTVQH15-CP-DCTUBTWMTTQVN dated February 20, 2025 of the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Government and the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front detailing the meetings with voters of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels.
On the same day, the National Assembly Standing Committee will consider and approve the Resolution promulgating the Exemplary Working Regulations of the Provincial and Municipal People's Councils; Resolution promulgating the Exemplary Working Regulations of the People's Councils at the commune, ward and special zone levels.
Consider the Report on the monitoring results of the National Assembly's Supervisory Delegation on "Implementation of policies and laws on environmental protection since the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 took effect". Review and approve the Resolution on the 2026 Legislative Program.
