According to VNA, on October 24, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, Politburo member and Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu - Head of the Organizing Subcommittee for the 14th National Party Congress - chaired a meeting of the Standing Committee of the Subcommittee to review the implementation of the organization work for the 14th National Party Congress.
At the meeting, Ms. Lam Thi Phuong Thanh - Deputy Chief of the Standing Office of the Party Central Committee Office - presented a report on the coordination of the implementation of the organization and service of the 14th National Party Congress since the meeting in September 2025 and the progress of the implementation of key task groups of the Subcommittee.
After listening to the report and comments, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu praised the agencies and units for promoting a sense of responsibility and seriously and promptly implementing assigned tasks. The organization of the Congress has so far been proactively and actively implemented by agencies and units, ensuring progress and quality.
The Standing Secretariat stated that there is not much time left until the 14th National Party Congress, agencies and units need to urgently complete and report on the progress of tasks such as: Conference submission content; working program; structure, quantity, and topic of discussion at the Congress; regulations on the activities of delegates.
The Standing Secretariat suggested that the Congress's working program should be reported soon for the Politburo to give its opinion. The regulations for the activities of delegates need to be sent promptly for delegates to study and thoroughly implement them seriously.

The Standing Secretariat requested the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to step up inspection and supervision of implementation, ensuring quality, on schedule and in accordance with regulations.

At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Secretariat mentioned the press work, internal and external propaganda about the 14th National Party Congress; at the same time, emphasized that the Ministry of Public Security and relevant agencies review and ensure absolute security and safety before, during and after the Congress; proactively fight and refute erroneous and hostile views in cyberspace.
Emphasizing that the logistics work to serve the 14th National Party Congress at the National Convention Center must be carefully and closely prepared, the Standing Secretariat of Tran Cam Tu requested relevant agencies, ministries and branches to have smooth and close coordination; focus on urging, inspecting and supervising to ensure the completion of preparations for the 14th National Party Congress on schedule and with quality.
The Standing Committee of the Secretariat assigned the Central Party Office as the focal point to proactively urge and report the implementation results to the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee and the General Secretary.
