On March 27, in Hanoi, the Truth National Political Publishing House coordinated with the Academy of Journalism and Communication, the People's Police Academy and the People's Security Academy to organize a National Scientific Conference "Intect Education with the current fight against corruption and negativity in Vietnam - Theoretical and practical".
This is the first national scientific conference on this very meaningful topic in the context that our country is stepping up the fight against corruption and negativity.
Major General Trinh Ngoc Quyen - Director of the People's Security Academy - acknowledged: Corruption and negativity are still complicated, with violations in the fields of equitization, land, bidding, securities, corporate bonds operating in commercial banks, healthcare, minerals... causing particularly serious consequences, causing loss of state assets, forming interest groups, causing frustration among party members and people.

Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Minh Son - Director of the Academy of Journalism and Communication - emphasized that today's scientific conference is of special significance, aiming to arouse awareness, share experiences, suggest solutions to promote and improve the quality and effectiveness of honest education, considering this a "prevention from the root" solution in the fight against corruption and negativity - a uncompromising fight that our Party has been vigorously implementing in recent times.
Speaking at the workshop, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam - Director, Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House Truth - emphasized that corruption is considered a congenital defect of power, an internal aggression that not only causes economic damage, but more seriously, weakens the apparatus of the Party and State, causes loss of public trust, "is one of the risks to the existence of the Party and our regime". Therefore, fighting against corruption and negativity is a necessary and inevitable thing; an irreversible trend.

The workshop clarified theoretical and practical issues on honest education such as: Internal content and main value of integrity; relationship of honest education with corruption prevention and control; factors affecting honest education; experience of countries around the world in honest education...
The workshop also aims to assess the current situation of honest education in Vietnam in general, in departments, ministries, branches and localities in particular; analyze methods, forms, philosophies, goals, content and educational programs, learning materials, and effectiveness of honest education; issues raised and lessons learned in honest education.
At the same time, propose orientations and solutions to improve the effectiveness of integrity education associated with the fight against corruption and negativity in the coming time; as well as promote the value of integrity education in building Vietnamese people in the new era as proposed by the 13th National Party Congress Document, building a team of cadres "both rosy and specialized" in particular in a lean, compact, strong, efficient, effective and efficient political system.
