The Government Inspectorate has just issued a plan stating: The inspection program for 2026 is not only aimed at solving immediate management requirements, but also has strategic significance in bringing the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress into life, contributing to building a serving, incorruptible, and modern administration; promoting national development in the new era.
Inspection activities must ensure the principle of compliance with the law, democracy, publicity, objectivity, timeliness, and accuracy; ensure that the content of inspection is focused and key, increasingly better meeting the requirements of state management at all levels and sectors, operating to serve socio-economic development of the country; focus on sectors, fields, and localities prone to violations, corruption, wastefulness, and negativity, with many complaints and denunciations, and public concern; sectors, fields, agencies, units, and localities that have not been inspected for many years.
At the same time, it is necessary to improve administrative discipline and order, public service ethics, strictly implement regulations on controlling power, preventing and combating corruption and negativity in inspection activities; promptly handle overlaps and duplication in inspection activities; not inspect more than once a year for each agency, unit, and enterprise, except in cases where a surprise inspection is needed when there are signs of legal violations.
Through inspection, promptly detect and rectify weaknesses and shortcomings in state management; take measures to overcome and strictly and legally handle collectives and individuals who violate the law, corruption, and negativity; propose to improve policies and laws that are still inadequate and lacking to create development and prevent violations, to contribute to removing difficulties and obstacles for projects, projects, land... to unlock resources to serve socio-economic development; ensure smooth operation of the 2-level local government, serving people and businesses better and more effectively" - the Government Inspectorate's Plan stated.
The plan also clearly states focusing on reviewing and definitively resolving backlog, complex, and prolonged complaints and denunciations, especially urgently handling and resolving 210 complex complaints and denunciations related to security and order. Focusing on advising on resolving newly arising complaints and denunciations, striving to achieve a rate of over 85% and organizing the implementation of decisions to resolve complaints and handle denunciations that have taken legal effect, reaching a rate of over 90%.
