According to the report at the 8th Patriotic Emulation Congress of Ha Tinh province held on the morning of October 13, in the period of 2020 - 2025, Ha Tinh province has organized many patriotic emulation movements in many fields.
Notable are the movements: "The whole province joins hands to build Ha Tinh province to meet new rural standards"; "For the poor - No one is left behind"; "Innovation, creativity in management, teaching and learning"; emulation "All people protect national security"; "The whole country competes in innovation and digital transformation"...
Thanks to promoting the patriotic emulation movement, in the period of 2021-2025, the socio-economic situation of Ha Tinh province has achieved many important and quite comprehensive results, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of the people.
Accordingly, the economy recovered rapidly, growing at 6.4%/year; the scale of the economy increased by 1.5 times compared to the beginning of the term, reaching 126,000 billion VND; the economic structure shifted in the right direction, the proportion of agriculture was 13.6%, industry - construction was 40.6%, services were 45.8%; GRDP per capita reached 94 million VND.
Budget revenue for the period 2021 - 2025 is estimated at 88,500 billion VND, an increase of 1.6 times compared to the period 2016 - 2020, increasing the proportion of domestic revenue. Total investment capital implemented in the whole society reached VND 233,488 billion, an increase of 47% over the period 2016 - 2020.
The number of poor households decreased compared to the beginning of the period, 8,612 households; the number of near-poor households decreased compared to the beginning of the period, 7,684 households; the rate of poor households is expected to be about 1.9% by the end of 2025; completing the target of no more meritorious people in poor households.
Violation models of livelihoods and projects to support production development have been effective, contributing to creating jobs for people, increasing income for households, helping more than 8,600 households escape poverty sustainably.
The work of protecting and caring for people's health is receiving increasing attention. The quality of medical examination and treatment at all levels has been improved.
In the period of 2020 - 2025, the province has 4,846 advanced models honored at the Grassroots Advanced Typical Conference (1128 collectives, 3,718 individuals).
The President awarded Medals of all kinds to 267 groups and individuals. The Prime Minister presented the Government Emulation Flag to 80 collectives; Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister to 438 collectives and individuals.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag to 546 collectives; the title of "Excellent Labor Collective" to 681 collectives; the title of "Provincial Emulation Fighter" to 206 individuals; Certificates of Merit to 9,346 collectives and individuals.
Speaking at the Congress, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President, First Vice President of the Central Emulation and Reward Council Vo Thi Anh Xuan acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that the Party Committee, government and people of Ha Tinh province have achieved through patriotic emulation movements in the period of 2020 - 2025.
The Vice President suggested that, promoting the achievements of the previous patriotic emulation period, in the period of 2025 - 2030, Ha Tinh needs to continue to bring the emulation movement closely linked to the political tasks of the locality, unit, and new trends so that the movement is substantial, penetrates deep into social life and brings practical results.
At the Congress, 3 individuals were awarded the Second Class Labor Medal by the President.
The Organizing Committee also awarded Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province to 44 collectives, 53 individuals and 3 households for their outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement of Ha Tinh province in the period of 2020 - 2025.
At the Congress, Mr. Vo Trong Hai - Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial Emulation and Reward Council launched a patriotic emulation movement for the period 2025 - 2030.
The Congress approved the list of Ha Tinh delegations attending the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.
