Experts shared information, gave comments and suggestions on many important contents related to the development and application of science and technology, especially in the fields of: Nuclear power, semiconductors, artificial intelligence, high-speed railways, etc.
In particular, Mr. Bui Nguyen Hoang, currently also Chairman of the Vietnam Network of Overseas Nuclear Energy Experts (VietNuc) said that VietNuc currently gathers nearly 100 scientists and experts. These are people who work at leading European nuclear energy corporations and research institutes, directly involved in the design and construction of many nuclear power plants in the world.
Professor Nguyen Van Tam is currently the Acting Head of the Department of Computer Science, Data and Artificial Intelligence, Paris Institute of Science and Technology - France's leading technology university.
" Orders" by the Prime Minister, Professor Tam said that he is ready to participate in developing and implementing a training program for artificial intelligence experts, first of all a training project for 100 experts. He also expressed his passion for combining Western science and technology with the quintessence of the East in the future of developing artificial intelligence.
The Prime Minister hopes that experts will continue to give their opinions and discuss key issues in strategic technology fields: Refer to experiences of countries to build and perfect institutions to ensure openness, transform institutions into competitive advantages; build standards, regulations, and choose appropriate technology; develop the most optimal infrastructure, invest at least but most effectively, both solving immediate and long-term problems; build an ecosystem of high-quality human resource training.
The Prime Minister requested experts to propose, participate in the development and implementation of specific projects and programs to serve the "first steps" to implement major projects of the country, mastering technology in the fields of high-speed railways, nuclear power, semiconductor chips, artificial intelligence...; similar to the project of training 100 artificial intelligence experts of Professor Nguyen Van Tam.
Emphasizing that these are things that "we must do, what we are doing and doing must be won, must be successful", the Prime Minister said that he will place orders for specific projects with experts, businesses, and cooperate with other countries to do. "Regarding the budget, the more you help the country, the more valuable it is, the rest will be paid" - the Prime Minister said.
