On July 1, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh - Secretary of the Government Party Committee chaired a meeting of the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee to give opinions on the draft project on building and developing culture to submit to the Politburo.
In his concluding remarks, the Prime Minister assessed this as a difficult project, included in the general package of recent strategic decisions to create breakthrough development in important pillar areas, along with the "four pillar ministries" resolutions issued by the Politburo.
In addition, there are two resolutions on education - training and health care for the people that are being developed and finalized to submit to the Politburo.

Emphasizing the very broad cultural concept, the Prime Minister proposed to study to continue developing and completing the project with the name in the direction of international hoa of national cultural identity and national hoa of world cultural quintessence.
At the same time, continue to clarify the content, scope, subjects, goals, viewpoints, tasks, and solutions of the project.
In particular, the Prime Minister said that it is necessary to determine the goals by 2030 and by 2045; have general goals and specific goals; goals in cultural fields.
The Prime Minister emphasized a number of guiding viewpoints: Ensuring the leadership of the Party; contributing to socio-economic development and achieving the two 100-year goals; improving the spiritual and material life of the people, taking the people as the center, the subject, and the people enjoying the fruits.
At the same time, there will be institutional breakthroughs to mobilize resources, especially public-private cooperation; cultural products that can be commercialized and cultural workers who make a living by their profession with high income.
The Prime Minister noted the tasks and solutions for: Further raising awareness; continuing to improve institutions; mechanisms for developing cultural industries, entertainment, and smart management; mechanisms for mobilizing and diversifying resources; training human resources; propaganda and promotion work; improving people's spiritual life and benefits; international cooperation.
The Prime Minister assigned the host agency, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, to receive comments and urgently complete the project to submit to competent authorities, ensuring progress and quality.
