On the morning of September 30, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province, Comrade Tran Cam Tu - Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat; Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha - Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations, Vice President - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the working delegation visited, encouraged and supported the people of Thanh Hoa to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10.
Reporting on the response and remediation of the consequences, Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoai Anh said: Storm No. 10 (Bualoi) has killed 4 people, 3 people are missing, 6 people are injured. The whole province had 955 damaged houses, of which 19 were completely damaged, 4,059 were flooded; 17 households with 63 people were affected by landslides.
In addition, 62 boats and rafts were damaged, 1,770 hectares of traditional fish farming were overflowing; 67 schools, 1 medical facility were flooded, 1 medical station, 3 cultural houses were damaged. In particular, 23 villages in 8 communes of Mau Lam, Bat Mot, Nhu Xuan, Quan Son, Hoa Quy, Xuan Chinh, Ba Thuoc, Cong Chinh were deeply flooded, with 1,673 households temporarily isolated. More than 100 locations on national and provincial highways were also flooded, causing congestion.
Thanh Hoa also recorded 5 dike incidents in the communes of Quang Phu, Cac Son, Ha Long, Xuan Lap, Tho Lap; 7 sections of the dike were overflowed; 620m of canals were eroded; 2 damaged lakes; 2 sections of the Buoi River bank were eroded.
To continue responding to the storm's circulation, Thanh Hoa province has organized visits, encouraged and supported families of relatives in distress; focused on treating the injured, and at the same time prepared human and material resources for search and rescue. The province requires localities to urgently restore traffic, electricity, domestic water, healthcare, and education in isolated areas; mobilize forces and means to promptly handle dike incidents, and be on duty at vulnerable points.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Comrade Tran Cam Tu sent his warmest condolences and deepest condolences to the people of Thanh Hoa for the losses caused by storm No. 10. At the same time, he praised the efforts and determination of the entire political system, all levels, sectors, armed forces and people in response and overcoming.
Comrade Tran Cam Tu suggested that Party committees, Party organizations, the Fatherland Front, armed forces and socio-political organizations continue to strictly implement the Central's direction, focus on overcoming the consequences with the highest goal of ensuring people's lives, caring for people's lives and restoring socio-economic development.
According to comrade Tran Cam Tu, Thanh Hoa needs to pay attention to promptly supporting necessities for people in flooded areas, focusing on environmental sanitation, disease prevention, urgently overcoming the system of dikes, electricity, roads, schools, stations, not leaving classes or medical examination and treatment facilities. He also emphasized the updating of reports, proposals, and recommendations in writing so that the Central Government can provide timely direction and support.
At the meeting, comrade Tran Cam Tu acknowledged the companionship of the Vietnam Fatherland Front with the people and forces on duty in the flood-hit areas. He presented support from the Party and State leaders, encouraged the Party Committee, government, armed forces and people of Thanh Hoa to overcome difficulties, soon stabilize their lives and complete their tasks well.

Also at the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha - Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central Trade Unions, Vice President - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - presented 500 million VND to support the people of Thanh Hoa to overcome the consequences of storms and floods.
