This content was raised at the Conference on the Logistics and Technical Work of the entire third quarter of 2025 of the Ministry of National Defense recently held, according to the Ministry of National Defense's Electronic Information Portal on October 5.
Concluding the conference, Lieutenant General Tran Minh Duc - Director of the General Department of Logistics and Engineering (HC-KT) - praised the results achieved by the HC-KT sector of the entire army in the third quarter.
To successfully complete the tasks of the fourth quarter and the whole year of 2025, Lieutenant General Tran Minh Duc requested agencies and units to continue to focus on effectively implementing Resolution No. 1656, 1658 of the Central Military Commission on leadership of logistics and technical work until 2030 and the following years.
Ensure timely logistics and techniques for training, combat readiness (SSCD), regularity and emergency. Promote increased livestock production, effective and sustainable processing associated with regional potential and advantages.
Advising and proposing to report to the Ministry of National Defense on upgrading facilities, medical staff, and doctors to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment of hospitals in the entire army.
Do a good job of managing, caring for, and protecting the health of soldiers, maintaining a healthy force of 98.5% or more; complete military recruitment health check-ups; deploy military service health check-ups in 2026.
Implement well the planning and management of the overall planning of the campsite; speed up the progress of key projects; continue to rearrange and handle national defense houses and land.
Strictly maintain the discipline and regimes of logistics and technical work; organize well conferences, training, competitions, and sports festivals to ensure practicality and efficiency.
Continue to promote scientific and technological research, innovation, digital transformation of the HC-KT industry; effectively implement the content of ensuring and training logistics and technical skills with countries as planned.
Previously, the report at the conference stated that in the third quarter and the first 9 months of 2025, the General Department of HC-KT and the Military HC-KT sector closely followed the Resolution of the Central Military Commission, military and defense tasks; proactively overcame difficulties, comprehensively deployed logistics and technical tasks.
Notably, it has fully and promptly ensured logistics and techniques for personnel missions, training, drills, and implementation of tasks A50, A80; and earthquake disaster relief in Myanmar. Complete the merger of the General Department of Logistics and the General Department of Engineering, reorganize it into the General Department of HC-KT; perform well the tasks assigned by the Ministry of National Defense on local military organization.
Deploy electronic medical records, electronic military health records, Project 06 and continue to research and propose the development of models of "Smart military hospital", "Modern military hospital". Implement well the topics of scientific and technological research, technical innovation initiatives, military technical cooperation tasks; transport military goods to help the Lao Ministry of National Defense.
