Speaking at the meeting, General Secretary To Lam emphasized that the stability and high unity in the Party, the consensus and trust and support of the people are very important opportunities for national development. In which, there are very important contributions from the propaganda and mass mobilization sector.

General Secretary To Lam also suggested a number of issues related to propaganda and mass mobilization work in the coming time. In particular, innovation in propaganda and mass mobilization work in scientific and technological conditions and digital transformation is taking place very strongly.

This is not a technical issue but is deeply related to the capacity to lead, ideology, and social management, strengthening the Party's trust in the digital age.

General Secretary To Lam emphasized that cyberspace is currently becoming a major ideological battlefield with many complex and multi-dimensional issues.

"We also need to evaluate the Party's websites and how much information is accessed. Evaluating foreign social networking sites such as Facebook, Zalo, Instagram... people are clearly aware of what Vietnamese people are thinking, the ideological situation, political trends of each individual... When technology develops, what should we do to carefully assess this issue" - the General Secretary suggested.

According to General Secretary To Lam, those working in propaganda and mass mobilization must be very concerned and think about this issue. How to orient the ideology and effectively carry out the Party's mass mobilization work.

"This is a very big, very complicated, very difficult struggle, not simple. If we loosen the front, we will give our environment to other forces," said the General Secretary.

General Secretary To Lam emphasized that the propaganda and mass mobilization sector is on the threshold of strategic transformation. From traditional to modern, from the real environment to cyberspace, from monopoly to information competition... This content needs to be studied to approach the ideological front more comprehensively and strategically so as not to fall behind and to meet the task.

General Secretary To Lam also asked questions and suggestions about the new organizational model of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, which issue needs to be further supplemented, most completely, is the combination of propaganda and mass mobilization in one body after the merger of the two strategic committees of the Party.

"What is the coordination and coordination between the Party's committees, forming the Party's strategic advisory body? The close connection between propaganda, mass mobilization, organization, internal affairs, strategic policies, the central party office... is very important" - the General Secretary said.

1 century of revolutionary journalism and entering a new period of development

According to the General Secretary, the issues of culture, arts, and publishing journalism also have many specific contents to be concerned about. This is also a concern of artists and intellectuals.

We must have a way to deal with these issues, answer issues of public concern such as why we lack top-notch artworks, works of art with long-term symbolic artistic value. Is it due to thinking, or finance, or investment, or any other barrier.

"We are policy managers, we must answer these questions to meet the requirements" - the General Secretary said.

According to General Secretary To Lam, we will soon celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day. We need to raise the issue of promoting the role of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press in the new era of national development.

"100 years, how do we grow up. 100 years must have a change. The old 100 years bring victories to the new 100 years, a new period of national development" - the General Secretary said.

According to General Secretary To Lam, the content of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee is very broad. We need to look straight at the truth, look straight at the core issues to propose discussions and solutions for strong development in the coming time.
