On the afternoon of March 28 in Da Nang city, General Secretary To Lam chaired a meeting of Party and State leaders with revolutionary veterans, meritorious people, and typical policy families in the Central - Central Highlands region.
This is an activity organized by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee in coordination with the Central Party Office and relevant local agencies and units on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
Attending the meeting were Politburo members: Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh - Permanent Deputy Prime Minister of the Government; Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission; General Phan Van Giang - Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense; General Luong Tam Quang - Minister of Public Security... and leaders of Da Nang city and localities.

Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission - reviewed the historical milestones and contributions of revolutionary veterans, meritorious people, and exemplary policy families in the Central region in the resistance war to liberate the South and unify the country. At the same time, he said that this is an occasion for General Secretary To Lam and the leaders of the Party and State to wish to listen to the opinions expressed, contributions, thoughts and aspirations of representatives of veteran revolutionary cadres, meritorious people, and exemplary policy families in the Central region.

In their statements, representatives of revolutionary veteran cadres, meritorious people, and typical policy families in the Central region, in addition to reviewing traditional policies, highly appreciated the very practical and humane policies of the Party and State in recent times.
Delegates expressed their admiration and confidence in the success of the revolution of streamlining the apparatus, merging ministries, branches and localities that is being carried out nationwide as well as the recent major decisions of the Party and Government related to digital transformation, investment in science and technology, launching " Lifelong learning"...
