According to Mr. Quang, the Department of Finance has advised the City People's Committee to submit to the Standing Committee of the City People's Council to approve the policy of issuing a resolution according to the streamlined process. On July 25, the Standing Committee of the City People's Council agreed in principle. Currently, the Department of Finance is completing the draft, collecting comments and coordinating with the Department of Justice to submit legal documents.
According to this resolution, the subjects of application are cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers working at Party agencies, authorities, the Fatherland Front, organizations and socio-political organizations of Soc Trang and Hau Giang provinces (old) when transferred to work in Can Tho City.
The support policy applies to cases where vehicles cannot be arranged for pick-up and drop-off or official housing. Each person will be supported with 4 million VND/month for 2 years, calculated from the time of arrangement and transfer.
According to preliminary statistics, the total number of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers expected to benefit from the policy is over 2,300 people, of which about 1,800 people belong to administrative agencies and about 526 people belong to the Party and mass organizations.
