On the morning of October 2, at the 20th Nghe An Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac, on behalf of the Politburo, gave a speech, expressing hope that Nghe An will make a strong breakthrough in the new period.
Mr. Phan Dinh Trac highly appreciated the serious and scientific preparation of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee and praised the province's outstanding achievements in the past term: average economic growth of over 8.3%, budget revenue of over VND26 trillion, FDI of over 4.8 billion USD, many large technology corporations investing; education and healthcare holding the leading position in the North Central region; social security, national defense - security, and foreign affairs achieved many positive results.
In addition, he also frankly pointed out the limitations: GRDP per capita is still low; small enterprises lack motivation projects; poverty reduction is not sustainable; a number of cadres and party members still have limitations in innovative thinking and action capacity.
On behalf of the Politburo, comrade Phan Dinh Trac emphasized three major orientations for Nghe An:
First, arouse the desire for development, innovate thinking and action, create new momentum, focusing on institutional improvement, administrative reform, strategic infrastructure development, investment attraction and talent.
Second, consider cadres as decisive factors, build a clean and strong Party Committee, promote solidarity, dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility.
Third, focus on national defense and security, maintain political stability, ensure border security, social order and safety, and expand foreign relations.
This Congress is an important milestone for Nghe An to surpass, break through, accelerate, become a national growth pole, fulfilling the wish of beloved Uncle Ho, comrade Phan Dinh Trac emphasized.
