According to the Government Electronic Information Portal on April 14, the Northern Military Junior High School has just announced the subjects and admission standards for the Northern Military Junior High School in the 2026-2027 school year.
The Northern Military Youth School, under Military Region 1, is one of the three military youth schools that have just been established. The school is located in Hung Vuong residential group, Linh Son ward, Thai Nguyen province, organized with 6 functional departments and divisions; 5 specialized departments; 8 student management companies.
The school has a planned training scale of about 1,000 students, with a synchronous facilities system, meeting long-term learning, living, and training requirements.
The Northern Military Junior High School will organize the teaching of secondary and high school programs according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. At the same time, closely combine national defense and security education, physical training, life skills and organizational discipline.
The goal is to build a regular and orderly learning and living environment suitable to the training characteristics in the Army, helping students develop comprehensively in terms of intellect, physical fitness and ethics.
Notably, according to the plan, the Northern Military Youth School will enroll students for general education from grades 6 to 12. However, in the 2026-2027 school year alone, the Northern Military Youth School will only enroll grade 6 students.
The school's enrollment targets include children of ethnic minorities, policy families, families with meritorious services to the revolution, students in difficult circumstances and other subjects as prescribed.
Candidates must ensure standards of political qualities, good and above conduct, good health, age and academic ability (completing primary school program, ranked as Average or higher) according to regulations.

The school will perform the task of comprehensive education, closely combining cultural teaching with training discipline and military style. Thereby contributing to the formation of political bravery, revolutionary ideals and a sense of responsibility for the young generation.
According to the orientation, the Northern Military Youth School under Military Region 1 will organize training for students according to the general education program, while integrating national defense and security education, physical training, life skills and organizational discipline.
