On August 28, the People's Council of Lam Dong province, term X, 2021 - 2026, held its 3rd session (special session) to review and resolve important contents under its authority.
The session was held in a direct and online combination at 3 main connecting points in 3 centers of Da Lat, Phan Thiet, Gia Nghia, connecting with 111 connecting points in communes, wards, and special areas of Phu Quy.
At the meeting, Mr. Tran Hong Thai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council, informed that the socio-economic situation in the first 8 months of 2025 of the province continued to develop positively. In which, agricultural production is guaranteed, diseases on crops and livestock are controlled. Industry maintained stable growth momentum, exports in the first 8 months of the year reached 2.1 billion USD.

Mr. Tran Hong Thai said that in addition to the achievements, Lam Dong province recorded a low disbursement rate of public investment capital in the first 8 months of the year, only reaching 33.7% compared to the plan. Many projects in the area are slow to be implemented due to land clearance problems.
In addition, the province has also suffered the impact of natural disasters, causing serious damage to people and property. Traffic accidents still have many potential risks, while the lives of people in remote areas and ethnic minorities are still difficult.
At the session, the People's Council of Lam Dong province, term X, 2021 - 2026, discussed, reviewed, and unanimously voted to approve 14 resolutions with a rate of 100%.

Speaking at the closing session, Mr. Tran Hong Thai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council, requested the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee and all levels and sectors to immediately implement the resolutions that have just been passed. The Provincial People's Committee will implement solutions to promote industrial production and remove difficulties and obstacles for large projects outside the budget.
At the same time, the unit needs to speed up the progress of personnel improvement for project management boards to receive tasks and public investment plans during the administrative unit reorganization phase. Compensation and site clearance for large projects and key projects also need to be implemented quickly.
Mr. Tran Hong Thai also requested the People's Committee of Lam Dong province and all levels and sectors to organize investment promotion activities to remove difficulties for businesses.
Agencies are required to handle assets after the arrangement, organization of the apparatus and administrative units in accordance with regulations, without any loss or waste.
The Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Council also emphasized the need to fully implement the regimes and policies for cadres, civil servants and public employees in the process of arranging administrative units.
